Kevin Keegan

Keegan was a fantastic asset to have in any football side, he was brilliant in the air and, together with his fine finishing, and his make up suited the tempo of modern football. During his 3 year spell playing football in Germany he was honored European Football player of the year in 1978 and 1979. The 1982 world cup finals in Spain provided Keegan the opportunity to appear in the world stage for the first time since his first England appearance in 1972. Unfortunately injury restricted him to only twenty five minutes of play in the world cup.

Jimmy Case

Jimmy Case possessed one of the strongest shots and was a huge fan of swinging the ball from lengthy distances. At Liverpool, Cases shots were believed to be the most powerful in the nation. He scored spectacular goals despite not scoring to often. Case forced his way into the Liverpool starting 11 in 1975 and he quickly established a reputation for scoring essential goals. His courage and skill established him as a crucial element in the Reds unbelievable success under the manager, Bob Paisley. He won four league medals, three European Cups, one UEFA Cup and a league Cup with the Reds. Case moved to Brighton in 1981 and carried them through to reach the FA Cup final in 1983. In 1985 he moved to Southampton, a club which he remained with and ended his career at later on.
